Depicting a fictionalised version of the life of Marilyn Monroe adapted from the book Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates, the movie has been given an 18 age rating in the UK for sexual violence, strong sex, domestic abuse

The movie stars Ana de Armas who is most famous for starring in Knives Out and her scene stealing extended cameo in No Time To Die, the movie also stars Adrien Brody from Hollywoodland and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

The movie is adapted by and directed by Andrew Dominik who directed the critically acclaimed The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford.
